Liv & Oliver would often be at the same events but had never properly met. Some mutual friends suggested that they should get in touch with one another. One blind date three days before a nation wide lockdown and a wild idea to spend it together on Oliver’s family farm in Waitomo has turned into the most romantic covid story ever. Their wedding took place at L’Orangerie in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty.

At long last, I can share this day with you from Sian & Teo’s wedding in Hunua, Auckland. What an honour to photograph this wedding with such a great group of people and with tastes so aligned to my own. Pure magic.

When you spend the weekend somewhere along the Coromandel Peninsula over summer and you’re a part of a dreamy wedding day with the loveliest group of people, you certainly remember to count your blessings. I swear I have the best job ever.
Kirsty & Ben got married in Matarangi. Their ceremony was held at a secluded headland, overlooking views of the little islands off Whangapoua. Their reception was held at Kirsty’s family beach house. Many thanks to the incredible team of vendors who helped put together such a wonderful day.

“Devon and I want our day to reflect our personalities and taste. Our aim is to distill traditions and formalities down to what is most important to us, prioritising our time with friends and family, ensuring everyone is relaxed and comfortable, whilst still romantic and special.”
Let the good times roll. This wedding was outside of the box in all of the best ways. Thank you Louise & Devon for having such great vision and for placing your trust in me to execute the images in the unconventional way you were reaching for. The wedding took place on Louise’s parents beautiful kiwifruit orchard in Te Puke, Bay of Plenty NZ. Lou and Dev custom built the ceremony backdrop, signing table, bar, tables and bar leaners themselves. Everything about this day was pure magic.

When Ngawai & Wharenui contacted me about their plans to get married at Black Barn Tuahiwi I jumped at the chance to join them. The venue is set amongst lush native greenery with expansive views over Lake Tarawera. Their friends & family mean a lot to these two and it was important for me that I captured the essence of that, but not neglect the emotion and the intimacy held between them both. There are so many great moments from the weekend that I can’t even begin to post them all through fear of crashing the website! Biggest thank you to Jordon & Nate for recommending me, whose wedding I had the pleasure of shooting last summer.
